Yuma Vs SUWAMA is Amazing!!!
The first few minutes of this match were just ok at most, they did a bit of feeling out and then the dull brawl around rringside and slamming the head into the east and west sign. But then after that it was SUWAMA and Yuma in the ring and for the next nearly 20 minutes it was great.
SUWAMA brutalised Yuma and his lower back as did shuji to a lesser extent. They cut the ring off and knocked Kento off the apron multiple times. There was a short Kento hot tag but he was too cocky and wasted too much time so he got caught by shuji and had to tag Yuma back in before he was recovered
From then on it was all finish stretch with Yuma Vs SUWAMA for maybe 10 minutes. It was a great finish stretch with double teaming from both sides but there was always the feeling that the violent giants were ahead. Not so much that Yuma could never win but that it would be a shock if he did. He got close with a couple of flash pins and got to kick out of a lariat and a backdrop before finally being put down by a last ride on the second attempt.
Last year some of the violent giants rwtl main events were drawn out and dull. This time that was not the case it was once you got past a meh first few minutes you were into a 20 minute thrill ride of a main event where they did not go for a back and forth match and instead told a better story of SUWAMA and Shuji dominating the jr member of the opposition. ****
