This was a match of two Halfs.
In the first you had a good start with Kaz flying all over the place to take out his larger for followed by Shuji taking out kaz’s leg to stop that. What followed was some pretty awful selling from Kaz as he still ran around fine but then did the hit knee hold it and cry excuse for a sell that so many do. He even did the thing the bad Okada does where he forgets which leg has been targeted and does it to the wrong one.
The second half of the match was one of the best escalation of jr offensive wrestling of the 21sr century. Amazing stuff as they got bigger and bigger but never rushing through things and building the crowd up to a great finish. So many awesome spots, loved it.
But, it did follow a poor first half, so what you end up with is two wildly different styles of match and two wildly different quality of match stuck in the same 22 minutes. It’s certainly worth the watch for the second half alone but it is an odd one not really sure what to rate it so I won’t but it is must see.
