This felt like a bit of a house show effort from three of the guys and a bit laboured and directionless for large amounts of it.
The first heat sequence was by the sweeper team and it was very uninspired it was ploding and not particularly interesting. When Nomura was being worked over it worked really well, his selling and fire was great when being thrown around by SUWAMA or being elbowed to death by Shuji.
When he was worked over it was good, the last tag was around 15 minutes in and the finish did not come for another 12 minutes during this way too long finish stretch it didn’t flow and they just seemed to be doing stuff with interference spots from the guys on the outside.
When it was just Nomura and SUWAMA it was better but it just seemed way to long just for the sake of it. It also went from hot sequence and then just went down to a low moment again but it was not a flow of rise and fall taking the crowd on a journey like Kawada Vs Kobashi 1996 which does that excellently.
This just seemed muddled and way too long which was a shame as there were fun bits in there. **1/4
